An Unforgettable Opening Night in Munich
On December 10, the festival kicked off in the stunning setting of the BMW Welt in Munich. Sandra Lahnsteiner-Wagner, founder of #shadesofwinter, opened the third edition of the FilmFest with enthusiasm and passion. Over the following three evenings in Austria, athletes presented their extraordinary films in person, sharing their experiences and stories with the audience.

A Celebration of Passion and Progress
This year’s FilmFest once again provided a platform for up-and-coming talents, showcased incredible female athletes, and celebrated the spirit of adventure. As Sandra Lahnsteiner-Wagner put it, “With this year’s program, Shades of Winter as a platform for female action sports athletes and their authentic stories shows an important development in this space and presents itself fit for many years to come.”
